In this tutorial, we’re creating Mountain Moving Faith Bookends, inspired by Matthew 17:20:
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." (KJV)
These sturdy, faith-filled bookends are a beautiful way to bring Scripture into your home, your study space, or to gift to someone who needs a reminder of the strength we have through Christ.

- May 2025 Crafting & Christ Kit
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brushes
- Chalk Paint (I used Waverly in Plaster)
- Tinted Wax (I use Dixie Bell Best Dang Wax in Brown)
- Antique Applicator Brush (or scrap rag)
- Scissors
- Finger Sander, Sanding Block, Sanding Paper or Nail file
- Extra E-7000 or B-6000 Multi Purpose Adhesive

Iron (for iron on method decoupage)
- Water Cup & Damp Rag & Wipes
- Saran Wrap/Zip Lock Bag/Parchment Paper
- Blow Dryer or Heat Gun ( Optional)
