Fruitful Servant Door Hanger DIY | Christian Summer Craft Tutorial
Welcome to June’s Crafting & Christ Club tutorial!
This month, we’re diving into a theme that’s as sweet and refreshing as summer itself—“Fruitful Servant.”
Inspired by Scriptures like Matthew 25:23 and Galatians 5:22-23, we’re celebrating what it means to live a fruitful life—bearing good things, serving others with joy, and reflecting the Spirit in everything we do.
Our project this month is a 9" door hanger that brings the theme to life with burlap, fabric flowers, and a charming mason jar overflowing with blessings—complete with adorable lemon slice and strawberry wood cutouts that are just the right touch of whimsy and warmth.
Whether you’re crafting this to display at home, gift to a friend, or use as a visual reminder of God’s call to live fruitfully, I hope it blesses you every step of the way.

SUPPLIES USED:
- Door Hanger Sign
- Mason Jar Cutout
- Fruit Cutouts
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brushes
- Fabric Squares/Scraps (3- 5" squares)
- Jute/ribbon
- 6 Buttons
- Chalk Paint (I used Waverly in Plaster & Ballet Slipper)
- Tinted Wax (I use Dixie Bell Best Dang Wax in Brown)
- Antique Applicator Brush (or scrap rag)
- Scissors
- Jute
- Paint Pallet Scraper
- Extra E-7000 or B-6000 Multi Purpose Adhesive

Iron (for iron on method decoupage)
- Water Cup & Damp Rag & Wipes
- Parchment Paper
- Blow Dryer or Heat Gun ( Optional)
