Christian Crafts Tutorial | Decoupage Hymnal Cross Sign with Paper
In today’s Tutorial, we’re creating a beautiful hymnal cross sign using a few things you probably already have at home — a simple paper shipping bag, some sticks, and pebbles.
This project is a perfect example of how Christian crafts, Christian paper crafts, and Christian decoupage crafts can come together to create meaningful, faith-filled home decor using everyday materials.
I’ll walk you step-by-step through how to turn paper into a vintage hymnal background and layer it onto a wooden cross for a rustic, scripture-inspired piece you can display year-round.

- Amazon paper shipping bag
- Chalk Paint (I used Plaster by Waverly)
- Antique Wax (I used Dixie Bell Best Dang Wax in Brown)
- Antique Applicator
