Terra Cotta Pot Decoupage
Ever bought something that was a great deal, only to have it collect dust? Reorganizing my craft supplies and just came across these cute little pots I scored at the Dollar Tree, and today was the perfect day to create something beautiful for my tier tray!
SUPPLIES
Grab these at the local Dollar Tree, thrift store, or wherever you can find some.
I painted just the top of the pot and top of the inside in White Paint (this is the kind I love using- it coats well and dries quickly).
Next I used the tearing method to edge around the two parts of the design I wanted to feature and attach the graphic that will be the background first with mod podge. (Make sure you also separate the ply of the napkin so that you only get the top layer).
TIP: Use a zip lock bag to smooth out the design wording from the inside out
Repeat the same process with design you want centered front and center.
Then I wrapped and tacked some jute twine around the top and a few simple paper and burlap flowers to complete the look.
If you try this project I'd love to see it! Tag @christiancraftpaper and I may feature your creation!
